The wine is dark red with intense violet tones at the
edge of the glass. It is a wine rich in glycerol.
The legs are full and descend slowly down the side
of the glass. It is clean, bright and beautiful, inviting
further investigation.
Before the glass is moved, the wine has an intense and
at the same time a very elegant nose. It has a bouquet
of red fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant) and with an exotic
touch attained from ageing in oak barrels. On moving the
glass the aromatic nose intensifies the scents of the
previous phase. It is very tempting and cries to be raised
to the mouth.
In the mouth it is full, round and smooth but then comes
the potency and structure combining sweet tannins with
the alcohol and acidity to produce an extraordinary balance.
It is powerful in fruit scents and very long in the mouth.
It finishes by seducing us with its velvety taste, causing
us to say that is a well balanced complex wine, full of
fruit that had been well-aged in the barrel.
